After he was cleaned up the grandparents came to meet him. They were very excited to hold the new baby boy.

Labor and delivery
Fischer arrived at 4:55 pm on January 26. We were induced by Dr. Alverson. I was hooked up to an IV at 8:30. At 8:40 my water broke. After the epidural, everything was pretty easy. When my Dad arrived around 12:00 we taught him how to use his smart phone. I used my smart phone to browse ideas at Pinterest. Nancy arrived around 2:00. I started pushing around 4:30. Overall, it was a good labor and delivery experience.
After he was cleaned up the grandparents came to meet him. They were very excited to hold the new baby boy.
About an hour and half later, we were moved into a hospital room. We got lucky and our room had a couch. Many people came to visit Fischer.
